Bud and Marty Chapman met as students at Valparaiso University in
Indiana. Bud graduated with a B.S. Degree in accounting and Marty
with a B.A. Degree in education.
Bud was the owner of Chapman Propane until he sold it in 2003 and
is a past president of the Illinois Propane Gas Association. He also
has his private pilots license with an Instrument endorsement and
his favorite hobby is golf. Bud established Party Creations Inc. in
1993.
Today Bud works side by side with his wife Marty as equal partners
in Party Creations Inc. and it has been growing steadily ever since.
Also, Bud and Marty"s daughter Kelley just graduated from
University of Illinois Springfield and has joined the company full
time. So it looks like a second generation may take over operations
someday.

career as an elementary education teacher in both Chatham and
Springfield School Districts. In 1993, Marty and her husband Bud
